Behind The Scientist

Born into a family of book readers, teachers, and chefs, Riskin started his extraordinary adventures early in life. In conjunction with his wild imagination and his passions for the physical and social sciences (as well as his now-love of freshly-squeezed milk from grass-fed cows), Riskin's talents have allowed him to analyze and advance many of the tasks, problems, and conundrums he has set his mind to.

After studying biochemistry, Riskin fell into the exciting and chemistry-laden world of bartending where you will currently find him slinging drinks at the Upstairs Cocktail Lounge in Boulder, CO. He also co-founded Tasting House, an event production company with incredible talent and exceptional cocktails.

Now a mad scientist by profession and cocktail artist by trade, Riskin found himself unsatisfied with the quality and flavor options of bitters on the market. He began experimenting and soon found a remarkable proficiency. Thus, a new product was formed: Riskin's Cocktail Bitters, extraordinary elixirs for every occasion!
