Gremlins' Glory
Lab Report: Gremlins’ Glory [Ginger Bitters]
Purpose: To add a spicy, full-bodied, refreshing ginger aroma and flavor to a drink without the need for muddling, or adding juice and syrup.
Outline: Usually 1.5mL-3.75mL (2 to 5 droppers) is added to a drink, varying based on other ingredients and total drink size. Each dropper has mL increments listed on it for accuracy and precision with every cocktail.
Experiment: Tested with the Penicillin, the Sazerac, whisk(e)y sours, the Vieux Carre, the gin rickey, the Negroni, margaritas, mojitos, caipirinhas, lemon drop martini, chocolate martini, hot chocolate, hot toddys, the Rusty Nail, the Sidecar, egg nog, Irish Coffee, affogato.
Observations: Gremlins’ Glory adds a crisp and flavorful juiciness and earthiness to all drinks listed under experiment, and many more untested.
Data: Gremlins’ Glory is a 50% abv solution of water, alcohol, powdered ginger, and ginger root. Both sample and full size bottles are available. The full size bottles will last 25-60 cocktails.
